Lowe’s and the Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation are kicking off the New Year by donating a total of $1 million to four environmentally focused charities as a part of their first online community giving campaign. The charities are AMERICAN FORESTS, Keep America Beautiful, National Park Foundation and Water.org, will each automatically receive a $100,000 grant. The remaining $600,000 will be distributed based on the percentage of your votes each charity receives atwww.lowes.com/give and onhttp://www.facebook.com/lowes?v=app_10467688569 . The voting will take place from Jan. 9-21.

You may vote for Water.org once per day per email address through 22nd January, 2011, 11:30 am (IST). Your vote helps water.org to bring clean water to people around the world. To see our work and impact on the community please visit www.water.org. Please vote. Your vote counts.
